basic tone Records is located in the heart of Cologne, near Ebertplatz. The shop has a warm atmosphere with a cozy corner to hangout and pre-listen to your finds.

While the physical space is limited, the musical offer is all the broader. The shop specializes in Jazz, Fusion, Soul/Funk, Classic & Prog Rock, Hip Hop, and Electronic music. Second hand records scooped up from all over Europe make up most of the inventory with a fine selection of relevant new releases and reissues also on offer.
